Modified Tipcomb Surface (MTS) technology is an innovative alternative to bead-based purification based on a proven, longstanding technique of “spooling”. Utilizing a mild buffer and modified tipcomb surfaces to extract DNA from a range of samples.

PurePrep MTS enables an extremely high throughput in DNA purification. As this method captures solely the nucleic acids in the sample, the amount of contaminants co-isolated during this initial step are minimal, requiring only a very small number of short purification washes before elution.
