Your privacy is important to MolGen so we’ve developed a Privacy that provides details of the way in which MolGen, as Controller, processes your personal data

In addition to this Privacy Policy, we provide data and privacy information imbedded in our products for certain features that ask to use your personal data. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and contact us if you have any questions.
We process personal data  in accordance with the EU “general Data Protection Regulaton” (“GDPR”) and the applicable national and European privacy legislation and regulations.

Collection and Use of Personal Data- categories of Personal Data and types of individuals

Personal data is any information relating to a living individual which allows the identification of that individual. Depending on how you use our website, we collect and process different types of information about you. We collect personal data through the site such as your name and email address when you submit it to us for certain products, services, or questions. We also collect information about your computer browser, including the computer’s IP address and a person’s location, browser type, operating system, and the webpages you visit.  If you access our website from a mobile or other device, we collect a unique device identifier contained in that device. This information allows us to display or format relevant content and services for that device. If you are browsing our website, we will gather anonymous information about where you are and how you navigate and use our website. We will use this information to improve the functioning and user-friendliness of the website and so that we can keep track of traffic on the website.

We also collect Information from conferences or workshops. When you share your contact details at conferences and workshops where MolGen products are presented. MolGen will use such information to fulfill your requests to provide the relevant product or service.

Purpose of processing and legal basis

We may process your personal information for the following purposes and legal basis:
We collect and process your personal data to respond to information requests, to create, develop, operate, deliver and improve our services and products, keep you posted on latest developments, send updates and inform on upcoming events, send notices about purchases, about changes in Terms and Conditions and other policies as well.

If you don’t, or no longer, want to be, on our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by updating your preferences or tick the unsubscribe button.

Our legal basis to process your personal data is performance of contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest and consent where applicable.


Cookie Policy

MolGen’s websites, online services, interactive applications, email messages, and advertisements may use “cookies” and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons.

These technologies help us better understand user behavior, tell us which parts of our websites people have visited, and facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. MolGen may use this information for our marketing services. In some of our email messages, we use a “click-through URL” linked to content on the MolGen website. When customers click one of these URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on our website. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click text or graphic links in the email messages.

Disclosure to Third Parties

At times MolGen may make certain personal information available to strategic partners that work with MolGen to provide products and services, or that help MolGen market to customers. Personal information will only be shared by MolGen to provide or improve our products, services and advertising; on a need-to-know basis only it will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
If we use or disclose to third parties we will conclude GDPR compliant Processor Agreements with these third parties.


It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence − for MolGen to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if the government determines that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.

MolGen takes the security of your personal information very seriously. We employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent accidental loss of or unauthorized access to, use, alteration, and disclosure of your personal data

Integrity and Retention of Personal Information

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and our service specific privacy summaries. When assessing these periods we carefully examine our need to collect personal information at all and if we establish a relevant need we only retain it for the shortest possible period to realize the purpose of collection unless a longer retention period is required by law.

You have the right to request access to and receive a copy of the personal data we process in relation with you. You also have the right to rectification or erasure of your personal data.
In certain circumstances you also have the right to object to or to restricting of processing of your personal data.  You have the right to data portability where you have provided your personal data to us and in order to transfer your personal data to another data controller.
Where personal data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
